Concrete Finisher

Overview Walbec Group produces high-quality construction materials and delivers professional design, engineering and construction services across its six companies. Responsibilities Assist the Foreman in the safe placement of concrete and final finishing of concrete surfaces. Smooth, level, and finish concrete sections using blades, vibrators, and other tools. Prepare, set, and remove wood or plastic forms for structural and finish concrete elements. Fill roadways, driveways, sidewalks, bridges, and parking lots. Create concrete beams, columns, panels, and finish corners by hand. Use crane hand signals and other safety procedures. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Foreman or management. Lift and carry up to 75 lbs unassisted and shoot grades when required. Requirements Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record; Class A CDL strongly desired. High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred. Prior construction experience preferred. Punctual and dependable with flexibility for varied hours, nights, early mornings, weekends, and variable weather conditions. Ability to work in dirty, dusty, and confined environments.
