Human Resources ManagerThe client seeks a Senior Human Resources Manager capable of working independently. Your job will be to partner with management to meet corporate objectives, enhance productivity, and boost morale. Will have human resources oversight for both salaried and hourly employees.Responsibilities include:Recruitment, employee relations, benefits, employee development, training, and employee communicationsPlanning, implementing, and evaluating HR policies, practices, and proceduresPromoting positive plant culture by implementing initiatives that enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retentionResponsible for compensation and salary administrationEnsuring compliance with all employment-related federal, state and local government lawsManaging administration and communication of benefit programsManaging administrative transactions such as hires, promotions, performance reviews, and terminationsProviding compliance reports to OSHA and other government agenciesProviding human resources reports as neededQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is required.Minimum five to ten years' experience in human resources, including significant experience in an HR Manager role.Must have experience working in a manufacturing environment with skilled hourly workers.HR certification, SPHR or PHR is preferred.Should have some knowledge about OSHA, plant safety, and environmental, health, and safety requirements and reporting.
