Housing Finance Associate

Ballard Spahr LLP seeks to hire an Associate in the Baltimore, Minneapolis, Philadelphia or Washington D.C. office with 2-5 years of legal experience to join our Housing Finance group. Qualifications and Experience Commercial real estate finance experience Strong academic credentials Experience with multifamily lenders, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and/or FHA multifamily programs (plus) Strong title insurance and survey review experience (preferred) Active bar license in Maryland, Minnesota, Pennslyvania or D.C. Responsibilities and Expectations Ballard gives significant responsibility to Associates, with substantial client contact and a fundamental emphasis on teamwork. The firm encourages involvement in marketing and business development, allowing personal interaction with clients and their industries at conferences and other settings. This is part of a long standing national finance practice that has closed transactions in all 50 states with exposure to originating and servicing loans.
