Job Description
Title: Registered Nurse - Critical Care

Schedule:
- 12-hour Nights; 1900-0730
- 3 shifts per week

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Requirements:
- KS RN or Compact RN License
- BLS, ACLS, & NIHF Certifications
- 2 years of recent Critical Care/ICU or Emergency Department experience
- Experience with BiPAP, chest tubes, PICC lines, and drawing labs
- Comfortable with calling own consults and conducting own codes
- Open-heart Day 2 or Day 3 experience with pacer wires

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients.
- Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
- Respond rapidly to changes in patient conditions and emergencies.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Educate patients and families regarding health care procedures and care plans.

Compliance / Notes:
- Orientation required at a designated campus.
- Facility is a nicotine-free environment.
- Must work one holiday from designated group each year.
- Bi-weekly pay period.
- Minimum 2-hour notice required for shift cancellation.
