About the Veterinary Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Team Established in 2005, the Veterinary Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Group (VOSM) pioneered orthopedic, sports medicine, and rehab specialty practice in the U.S. Renowned in the Baltimore‑Washington, D.C., metro as a top choice for orthopedic pet treatment referrals. VOSM was one of the first canine orthopedic sub‑specialty groups in the world. Equipped with extensive orthopedic instrumentation, total hip replacement program, and multiple arthroscopic towers. Features onsite 1.5 Tesla MRI, diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound, digital radiology suites, and a dedicated neurology center. Sports medicine and rehab departments emphasize regenerative medicine, musculoskeletal ultrasound, conditioning, and hydrotherapy. Certified canine rehab practitioners skilled in orthopedic rehab modalities and therapies. Experience & Skills Requirements Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree required. State Veterinary Board License and must be in good standing for the state in which they intend to be hired, before their start date. Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible. Board Certified Veterinary Surgeon or Residency Trained Veterinarian.
