STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a SharePoint Business Analyst on behalf of our client in Chelsea, MA We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with strong enterprise-level SharePoint Online expertise to support a large-scale migration of network file shares to SharePoint and OneDrive. The ideal candidate will have strong requirements-gathering, business process analysis, documentation, stakeholder-management, and SharePoint solution-design experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze the business and application impact of migrating network files to SharePoint and OneDrive.

• Analyze network shares, security groups, permissions, applications, and existing business processes.

• Conduct structured interviews with business and technical subject matter experts.

• Gather, analyze, document, and validate business requirements and use cases.

• Develop business process models, application inventories, requirements documents, and SharePoint solution models.

• Facilitate requirements reviews, design discussions, and project status meetings.

• Support the development of SharePoint solutions and document solution rationale.

• Develop high-level SharePoint security group models in collaboration with security teams.

• Identify applications that access network shares and document related business use cases.

• Assist with enterprise architecture and SharePoint site planning for file storage.

• Create and maintain project documentation and artifacts within SharePoint.

• Review and update SharePoint governance documentation.

• Use Jira to document user stories, use cases, requirements, and project tasks.

• Present findings, recommendations, and proposed SharePoint models to senior management and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of Business Analyst experience.

• 2+ years of enterprise-level Microsoft SharePoint Online experience.

• Direct experience with network file share migrations to SharePoint/OneDrive .

• Strong understanding of business analysis, system analysis, and business process modeling.

• 3 5 years of experience gathering, developing, and documenting business requirements.

• Experience developing and maintaining:

  • Use cases

  • Business process models

  • Requirements documentation

  • SharePoint solution models

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across organizational levels.

• Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into detailed requirements and use cases.

• Strong stakeholder and customer-management skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

• Strong Visio and PowerPoint skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline; equivalent professional experience may be considered.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to participate in stakeholder interviews, requirements sessions, and senior-management presentations.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive business information appropriately.

• Successful candidates must be willing to complete required background screening and fingerprinting .
