Job Description Job Description Work Schedule Hours: To Be Announced Days: To Be Announced Shift: To Be Announced Position Overview Your Role: In this advanced technical position within the allied imaging field, you will work alongside a diverse team to deliver exceptional imaging services. These services encompass ultrasound, CT scans, PET scans, interventional radiology, digital mammography, and nuclear medicine. The main objective of the Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with RVT role is to provide diagnostic patient care through ultrasound and related techniques, performing routine, vascular, interventional, and non-invasive procedures. Qualifications and Requirements Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Ultrasound Program In addition to necessary entry-level certifications, the sonographer must exhibit clinical proficiency in abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, or vascular procedures Current Basic Life Support certification RDMS in Abdomen or OB/GYN or ARRT (S) RVT (ARDMS), VS (ARRT), or RVS/RCVT (CCI) A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience Key Responsibilities Maintain clear and open communication Foster relationships to encourage a collaborative atmosphere Take responsibility for your performance Continuously seek ways to enhance the patient experience Proactively pursue your professional development Be enthusiastic and committed to building a successful team About Us We are a 443-bed, comprehensive acute care hospital serving Richardson, Garland, Plano, and the surrounding areas in Dallas and Collin counties.
