Operations Support Specialist

Required:

• Experience in financial services.
• Experience identifying and addressing client needs, actively participating in discussions and meetings.
• Ability to balance workloads while meeting client expectations, provide timely feedback, and keep management informed of progress and issues.
• Effectively present information and respond to questions from business areas, managers, and clients.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to establish excellent working relationships with internal business areas and clients.
• Project management capabilities.
• Strong critical thinking, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Considerable technical skills, large data management processing, and MS Excel experience.
• 1-3 years of Financial Services, Operations, Client Service, or Banking experience.
• Experience handling client inquiries, returned mail processing, account maintenance, or operational support.
• Experience with escheatment, unclaimed property/assets, reconciliations, project support, large data management, and Excel.
• Strong communication, client service, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Experience working with high-volume data, meeting SLAs, and interacting with internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to and coordinate with clients/business areas regarding returned mail inquiries.
• Respond to internal and external inquiries and ensure maintenance of SLAs.
• Work with clients or internal stakeholders as information is required or requested.
• Support the reconciling of unclaimed assets as needed.
• Work on assigned projects on an as-needed basis to support Escheatment Operations.
• Identify and escalate potential process anomalies to management in a timely manner.
• Experience handling client inquiries, account maintenance, returned mail processing, or operational support activities.
• Escheatment, unclaimed property/assets, reconciliations, returned mail processing, project support, and large data management.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with large datasets.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and client service skills.
• Demonstrated problem-solving, critical thinking, organizational, and project coordination abilities.
• Ability to work onsite initially and collaborate with both internal and external clients while maintaining SLAs.
