IT Services spans a wide range of activities, including software development, data management, Cloud services, IT security, technical support, access governance, infrastructure management, and the procurement and maintenance of equipment and software. Employees are expected to maintain a meaningful on-site presence to support collaboration, relationship building, and business successEssential Job Functions and Responsibilities:Business Analysis & RequirementsFormulates and defines systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business solutions and business requirementsAnalyzes, identifies, and writes detailed descriptions of user requirements, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify applications or componentsMakes recommendations for business process improvements with an understanding of technical problems and solutions as they relate to technology needsActs as a liaison between business and IT; develops and maintains knowledge of the customer's businessInterviews end users to determine requirements for data, reports, analyses, training, data quality, and performanceFormulates systems to parallel overall business strategiesTesting & Quality AssuranceDevelops test plans and executes testsCreates and maintains regression test suites, including UI and API-level test casesParticipates in Agile ceremonies: daily scrums, sprint reviews, nightly releases, and weekend testing as neededProduction SupportPrepares analysis for production support of applications and associated documentationCreates ad hoc reports and executes data queries to support business and operational needsIdentifies root cause of production issues and documents findings and recommendationsDocumentation & Knowledge ManagementCreates and maintains application documentation, training materials, and process guidesActively shares knowledge with team members and business partners to reduce knowledge silosManages and documents change requests through the full release cycle (CERT and PROD)AI & AutomationIdentifies and implements AI-assisted workflow improvements to increase productivity and quality in daily BA workLeverages AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Microsoft 365 Copilot) to accelerate requirements documentation, test case creation, query writing, and production issue analysisStays informed on emerging AI capabilities relevant to business analysis and proactively shares use cases with the teamApproaches work with a continuous improvement mindset, seeking ways to use AI and automation to do better every dayBusiness & Customer EngagementDemonstrates a strong partnership mindset with the business — understands their goals, challenges, and needsCommunicates clearly and transparently in business-relevant termsProvides thoughtful options to address business needs and challenges; operates as more than an order takerResponds promptly and professionally to customer needsRequirements:Requirements gathering and documentation experienceTest case creation and execution experienceSQL writing experienceStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrongly Preferred:Experience with Agile methodology (daily scrums, sprint planning, retrospectives)Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman)Experience with project and work management tools (e.g., Rally, Jira, ServiceNow)Nice to Have:Experience with AI productivity tools (GitHub Copilot, Microsoft 365 Copilot, or similar)Familiarity with insurance industry systems or P&C (Property & Casualty) business domainExperience creating or maintaining automated test suitesBusiness Unit:Property & Casualty IT ServicesBenefits: We offer competitive benefits packages for full-time and part-time employees*.
