Job Description:
- Manage and maintain electronic and paper medical records in accordance with HIM policies.
- Process requests for medical records, including release of information (ROI) requests.
- Review records for completeness, accuracy, and proper documentation.
- Scan, index, organize, and file medical records into the EMR/EHR system.
- Verify patient information and ensure accurate record matching and identification.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and applicable privacy regulations.
- Track and document ROI requests and maintain accurate record logs.
- High School Diploma
