COMPLEX DIRECTOR OF SALES & EVENTSLocation: Ocala, Florida Work Setup: Onsite Salary: $160,000–$180,000 + up to 25% bonus Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire Relocation: Assistance and temporary housing availableSUMMARY The Complex Director of Sales & Events will lead the sales strategy and team for a destination property in Ocala. This includes two hotels, convention center, and arenas. This role also provides oversight of Events, Catering, Conference Services, and Special Events.We’re looking for a strong, hands-on leader who can develop a high-performing team, drive accountability, and deliver aggressive revenue goals while working closely with executive leadership and ownership.WHAT YOU'LL DO• Lead, coach, and develop the sales team while building a positive, performance-driven culture.• Hold team members accountable for prospecting, close rates, individual sales goals, and KPIs.• Develop and execute sales strategies that drive room nights, catering revenue, and overall top-line performance.• Oversee Events, Catering, Conference Services, and Special Events, each supported by dedicated leadership.• Manage a departmental budget exceeding $2 million and provide accurate forecasting.• Develop new business while strengthening key client relationships and monitoring market and competitive trends.• Partner closely with ownership and executive leadership on business strategy and priorities.WHAT YOU BRING• 5-10+ years of proven senior sales leadership experience within luxury hotels, resorts, and convention centers.• Strong track record of developing teams and driving measurable sales performance.• Experience managing significant budgets, forecasts, revenue goals, and KPIs.• Strong knowledge of hotel sales, including REVPAR, ADR, occupancy, market segmentation, and revenue strategy.• Executive-level communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.• Flexibility and sound business judgment within a privately owned organization.COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS• $160,000–$180,000 base salary (negotiable based on experience)• Up to 25% annual bonus• Relocation assistance and temporary housingType: Direct HireCategory: SalesDate Posted: 2026-09-04
