Serving as a point of contact for customers, this position helps build and maintain strong relationships by providing timely service, accurate information, and effective solutions. In partnership with the sales team, the Retail Sales Support Specialist assists with daily customer interactions, order entry, product inquiries, credits, and account support. This role is responsible in assisting with identifying and resolving customer concerns, coordinating solutions across departments, and ensuring every customer interaction reflects Charlie's commitment to quality and service. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and proactive in addressing customer needs. By anticipating challenges, resolving issues efficiently, and communicating effectively, the Retail Sales Support Specialist helps drive customer satisfaction, strengthen customer loyalty, and support the continued growth of our business. Upsell customers on new products, promotional items, push items directed by sales management and team leaders Maintain a sound working knowledge of all markets and growing conditions Notify and assist team leaders, account managers, buyers and operations by communication of customers’ needs and preferences Maintain effective, professional relationships with retailers, vendors, and fellow employees Organize and provide assistance for special sales and promotions Assist in departmental resets and grand openings when called upon Participate in special projects deemed necessary to the operation and wellbeing of the company Attend all sales meetings and appointments, ( be on time, punctual ) Responsible for individual call sheet and assigned customers Make sure all orders are submitted before scheduled cut-off times Responsible for processing and turning in credit memos, responsibility forms and other job-related paperwork within the set timelines Walk warehouse-checking product at least twice a day Major Activities: Phone selling Instore support/ merchandising Keeping abreast of new items and market conditions Meeting all company sales and profit objectives Sales meetings Qualifications Must have demonstrated excellent interpersonal relationship and collaboration skills Must be quick and accurate with paperwork, figures, attentive to detail, and have good follow-through Must have PC skills Must be flexible and able to deal with a variety of details simultaneously Must have proven problem-solving skills Must be skilled in time management and be capable of meeting work schedule deadlines Must have demonstrated excellent written, verbal and oral presentation skills Must have an excellent work record with references from current and/or previous employers Ability to plan, organize, implement, and follow through on projects Prefer a college degree or minimum high school Additional Information All job offers for this position are contingent upon passing a criminal background checkafter a conditional offer of employment.
