Location Bellevue Public Schools Schedule: Flexible part‑time hours, Monday–Friday Availability required during both the school year and summer programs Compensation: $15.00 under 18 years of age, under 18 years of age, $17.16 per hour Benefits Flexible scheduling Paid in‑service training Professional development opportunities Supportive and team‑oriented work environment Closed for inclement weather Job Summary Support Staff are vital members of the Kids’ Time team, working under the guidance of Site Directors to supervise children, lead engaging activities, and ensure a safe and welcoming environment. This role supports program operations and upholds DHHS licensing requirements through active supervision, relationship building, and positive behavior guidance. Interact with children of various ages and abilities in a positive, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate manner. Actively supervise and engage with children throughout program hours, ensuring a safe, structured, and enriching environment. Assist with the planning, set‑up, and clean‑up of daily activities and snack times. Understand and follow emergency procedures and safety protocols as outlined in staff training. Maintain confidentiality in all communications, documentation, and interactions with children, families, and staff. Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and strong attendance habits. Demonstrate active listening, problem‑solving, decision‑making, negotiation, and persuasion skills to support a positive program culture. Support the implementation of program expectations and behavior guidance strategies. Accurately complete required documentation (e.g., accident or behavior reports) in a timely manner. Function effectively in a variety of settings including classrooms, gymnasiums, outdoor areas, hallways, school buses, and field trips. Be flexible with work assignments, including assisting at other sites when needed. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with families, district personnel, and fellow Kids’ Time staff. Understand and support the goals and operational procedures of the Bellevue Public Schools Foundation and the Kids’ Time program.
