And we're still just getting started.Your Impact on Our MissionOur Talent Acquisition team finds and hires the people who help Zocdoc give power to the patient. Talent Operations is the engine behind that work - the systems, data, and processes that let recruiters spend their time on people, not on process. We're building this function from the ground up, and this role will be at the center of it.We're looking for a Senior Manager, Talent Operations to build our talent operations function from scratch. You've done this before - you know what it takes to go from "recruiters cobbling together workarounds" to an operational backbone: clean tooling, documented process, and metrics leaders actually trust.This is a hybrid IC/manager role. Day to day, you'll be hands-on - configuring tools, building knowledge systems, standing up dashboards. You'll also lead a team of 2 Recruiting Coordinators, with the team expected to grow as the function matures.Your day to day is…Tooling & SystemsOwn and optimize our recruiting tech stack (Gem, Greenhouse, BrightHire, etc), ensuring tools are configured to support how the team actually works - not fighting the tools to make process fitIdentify gaps in the stack, evaluate and recommend new tools or integrations, and manage vendor relationshipsBuild and maintain integrations between systems so data flows cleanly across the recruiting lifecycleKnowledge ManagementDesign and build a knowledge management system for the TA team - playbooks, SOPs, onboarding materials, and process documentation that scales as the team grows and evolvesKeep documentation current as tools and processes change; make it the source of truth, not a graveyard of outdated docsData & AnalyticsPartner with TA Leadership and the People Analytics team to build recruiting dashboards and define the metrics that matter - pipeline health, time-to-fill, source effectiveness, quality of hire, and funnel conversionEnsure data integrity across systems so reporting is trustworthy and self-serve for TA leaders and business stakeholdersTurn data into recommendations - not just reporting, but surfacing what the numbers mean and what to do about itProcess & ComplianceContinually assess and streamline recruiting processes end-to-end to improve efficiency and candidate/hiring team experiencePartner cross-functionally (Legal, People Systems, Total Rewards) to implement new processes and ensure compliance with internal policy and employment lawCollaborate with TA managers and leaders to standardize processes globallyTeam LeadershipManage and develop a team of 2 Recruiting Coordinators, with the team growing over time as the function scalesSet the standard for how operations work gets done - rigorous, documented, and built to last beyond any one personYou’ll be successful in this role if you have…6-8+ years of experience in Talent/Recruiting Operations, People Operations, or a closely related function, with a track record of building an operations function from scratchDeep, hands-on experience configuring and administering an ATS (Greenhouse strongly preferred) and sourcing/CRM tools (Gem or similar); BrightHire or interview intelligence tooling a plusProven experience building dashboards and recruiting metrics/reporting, ideally in partnership with a data or analytics teamExperience managing or mentoring a coordination teamStrong project management skills - you can run multiple workstreams simultaneously and bring cross-functional stakeholders alongComfortable operating as both an individual contributor and a people leader; you don't need a large team to make an outsized impactExperience working in a fast-paced, global organization and adapting to shifting prioritiesExcellent documentation instincts - you write things down so the team doesn't relearn the same lessons twiceZocdoc is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
