Intel Operations Support Officer

OverviewVTG is looking for a highly motivated Intelligence Operations Support Officer to join our team in Chantilly VA. What will you do?As a Intelligence Operations Support Officer, a typical day will include the following duties:Manages current and emergent intelligence reporting to customers, updating, maintaining, and disseminating intelligence products.Manages, executes, and tracks intelligence sharing amongst multiple stakeholders.Provides continuous intelligence watch, maintaining communication with respective components and partner agencies.Monitors Indications and Warning (I&W), and is responsible for determining when a threat needs to be communicated to relevant authority.Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies and subject areas.May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals.May serve as a team or task lead.Comprehensive knowledge of the principles, methods, processes, and applicable regulations involved in intelligence operations.Experience supporting intelligence operations (e.g.: watch operations or knowledge management).Specific certifications or education/training may be required, depending on job assignment.Program Specific Duties/Responsibilities:• Familiarity with cable writing and classified databases, including specific targeting tools• Strong briefing and writing skills as well as the ability to work well with teams or individually with minimal supervision• Customer operations certification desired.• Overseas experience of at least two overseas tours or from extensive overseas TDY experience desired.• Served as Chief or Referent for a specialized operations position desired.• Experience in intelligence operations, analysis, support to field operations desired.• Experience identifying targeting leads through the exploitation of all-source databases desired• Experience using customer databases to monitor traffic and communicate with field office desired.Do you have what it takes?Required skills:TS/SCI with PolyBachelors Degree (or equivalent experience)5 - 11+ years Technical related experience (Full Performance 5+ years, Senior 8+ years, Expert 11+ years)
