Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Join HMD Trucking as a seasoned OTR CDL-A dry van driver operating from Gary, IN. You’ll transport freight nationwide, manage loads responsibly, and work closely with dispatch to meet delivery commitments.

Key responsibilities:

• Run long-haul dry van routes, conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections, and maintain a clean driving record.
• Adhere to federal and state regulations, complete delivery documentation, and promptly report issues.

• Starting pay of 65 CPM with average weekly miles near 2,500 plus safety and inspection bonuses. Modern tractors (under three years) equipped with APUs, inverters, and sleepers, plus dedicated maintenance and regular home time.
