Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security‑related incidents, and support access control activities. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.82 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Mon 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Tue 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Fri 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and document security‑related observations and actions taken. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production‑adjacent areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, contractors, deliveries, and/or guests, while following site protocols for visitor processing and restricted area access. Support day‑to‑day operations by communicating with site contacts, reporting maintenance or procedural concerns, and assisting with security‑related requests in a professional manner. Minimum Requirements: Must possess one or more of the following: Service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, Elite Military Forces, combat arms) or any support role in a Combat Zone Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) or verified work experience in the law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighter field Bachelor's degree in law enforcement or criminal justice related studies A minimum of 8 or more years of service in any military branch Associate's degree (or 60 credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military service Be at least 21 years of age. Customer service experience is preferred. Loss prevention experience is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
