Overview
Registered Nurse – Oncology (Travel) in Cumming, Georgia. This travel assignment starts on 09/14/2026 for 16 weeks, with a weekly pay range of $1,799 to $1,935 and guaranteed 40 hours per week. The shift consists of four 10-hour day shifts in a hospital setting providing oncology care. Please note: candidates must be located outside a 50-mile radius of the posting location.

Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy and related oncologic medications following physician orders and established chemotherapy protocols
- Monitor patient status during infusion, manage adverse reactions, and escalate concerns to the oncology team
- Perform routine patient assessments, document vitals, and maintain accurate electronic medical records
- Prepare infusion equipment, manage IV access, and ensure safe handling and administration of hazardous/chemotherapy agents
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, potential side effects, symptom reporting, and safety precautions
- Uphold infection control standards, medication safety procedures, and regulatory compliance

Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of Georgia (or eligibility to obtain)
- Minimum of 2 years of recent oncology nursing experience
- BLS (American Heart Association) certification
- NIH certification
- Chemo certification with ability to administer chemotherapy
- Schedule readiness for four 10-hour day shifts and holiday coverage as outlined
- Ability to work in a hospital oncology setting and comply with relevant safety and regulatory requirements
