General Manager - Cosmetic Manufacturing

Optify Search are currently partnered with a market-leading Cosmetic Contract Manufacturer seeking a Director of Operations to oversee site operations and customer activity. Responsibilities for this role include (but are not limited to): Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and service targets are achieved. Act as a primary customer-facing contact, building strong relationships with key accounts and stakeholders. Support customer meetings, site visits, and audits, ensuring a positive customer experience. Develop product costing and pricing models in collaboration with internal teams. Monitor and manage site financial performance, including budgets, forecasts, margins, and operational KPIs. Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and increased productivity. Work cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Production, Quality, R&D, and Commercial teams. Support strategic initiatives that drive growth and operational excellence across the business. To be considered for the role, the following education, experience and qualifications are required: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Business, or a related discipline. Proven experience in an operational, site leadership, or business management role within manufacturing. Strong customer-facing experience with the ability to build and maintain commercial relationships. Experience with product costing, pricing, and financial performance management. Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, supply chain, and operational KPIs. Experience within cosmetics, personal care, fragrance, contract manufacturing, or a related industry is highly desirable.
