Hospitalist Physician

Locum Hospitalist MD/DO needed in Anchorage, Alaska

THIS IS AN ASAP URGENT NEED FOR NIGHTS!

Must be Board Certified in ABIM or FM

12 HOUR SHIFTS, ROTATE CALL - PROVIDERS MUST BE WILLING TO WORK 7 CONSECUTIVE SHIFTS PREFERABLY 2 WEEKS PER MONTH

Will you accept a candidate willing to obtain an AK license? Prefer NOT

What is your maximum bill rate per hour? Same as all other HM sites cap

Would the site consider a provider that needs to be licensed? Can we license a provider for this need? Prefer not

Does rotate call mean beeper call at night and if so, how often do they take it and how many admits per night on avg? No in house

How many phone consults on avg?

Can you share day volumes of how many patient encounters? 18-22

Open or Closed ICU? Are procedures required? Closed unit and no, we have the intensivist their

How many patients per shift? 18-22

Can you advise if temporary/emergency privileges will be available for this Hospitalist position in Alaska? If clean file

Is the coverage needed ongoing into 2026? Yes

What is the call rotation? None

Are the shift times 7a-7p and 7p-7a? 6-6

Will the client consider a 7 on / 7 off schedule for the two weeks/month coverage? Potentially
