Travel Emergency Room Nurse (RN) in Boston, MA

This highly regarded emergency department features a 65-bed, pod-based layout including separate pediatric and acute mental health pods, providing a stimulating environment to grow your clinical expertise. Schedule/Hours

• Night shift, 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend
• Floating to other units as required
• Minimal rotation to day shifts only when needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• At least 2 years' recent experience in emergency nursing
• Proficiency in general ED skills: assessment, documentation, IV/venipuncture, EKG, cardiac monitoring, point of care testing, splinting, critical thinking, and patient education
• Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS; NRP and TNCC strongly preferred
• Experience with EPIC ASAP charting system
• Comfortable caring for all patient populations

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ER setting (clinician-to-patient ratio 1:4)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient-centered care plans
• Prioritize rapid assessment, intervention, and documentation for a diverse patient population
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, and ongoing care
