Product Development Coordinator 
 
Location: Ontario, CA
Job Type: Full-Time, Onsite

Travel: Up to 5% for trade shows, customer visits, and industry events.

Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Product Development Coordinator to support the development, launch, and lifecycle management of our product portfolio. This role works closely with cross-functional teams including Purchasing, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and suppliers to ensure products move efficiently from concept through launch and ongoing management.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate product development activities from concept through product launch.
• Support product sourcing efforts and communicate with domestic and international suppliers.
• Track product development timelines and ensure milestones are completed on schedule.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and product improvements.
• Assist with product testing, sample evaluations, and quality reviews.
• Create and maintain product specifications, documentation, and internal records.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to support successful product launches.
• Monitor product performance and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Maintain product data, pricing, and related information within company systems.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and project updates for management.
• Attend occasional trade shows, customer visits, and industry events to support product research, product launches, and business initiatives.
• Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Required

• 2 to 3 years of experience in product coordination, product development, purchasing, merchandising, sourcing, project coordination, or a related field.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Preferred

• Experience working with suppliers or manufacturers.
• Experience supporting new product development initiatives.
• Knowledge of product sourcing, inventory, or supply chain processes.
• Experience with ERP/OMS systems or product management software.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field.
