Category Manager – Furniture

We are looking for a dynamic, customer-focused Category Manager – Furniture to drive the success of our category across multiple retail locations. This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic retail professional who enjoys being in the stores, working with teams, building vendor relationships, and creating an exceptional customer experience.

The Category Manager will travel regularly between locations, partnering with store leadership and associates to ensure products are presented beautifully, inventory is positioned effectively, and sales opportunities are maximized. This role combines merchandising strategy, business analysis, vendor management, and hands-on retail execution .

What You will Do

• Lead Furniture category strategy across multiple retail locations.

• Travel regularly to stores to assess merchandising, presentation, inventory, and customer experience.

• Partner with store leadership and associates to drive sales and category performance.

• Develop compelling product assortments based on customer needs, market trends, and sales performance.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and business partners.

• Identify opportunities to improve displays, promotions, pricing, product placement, and inventory flow.

• Collaborate with store teams to bring the category strategy to life on the sales floor.

• Analyze sales and inventory data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

• Stay current on furniture, home décor, and retail trends.

• Bring a positive, energetic, and solutions-oriented approach to every store visit and team interaction.

What We’re Looking For

A retail-minded, people-focused leader with experience in the furniture category who enjoys balancing strategy with hands-on execution.
Someone equally comfortable analyzing business performance, walking the sales floor, working with vendors, and collaborating with store teams to achieve results.
An energetic, organized, and adaptable leader who is comfortable traveling between multiple locations.
A strong eye for merchandising and presentation , with a clear understanding of what drives retail sales and how to build productive relationships with store teams and vendors.
Most importantly, a leader who understands that great retail happens when strong strategy, great products, and engaged teams come together to create an exceptional customer experience.
