Associate Veterinarian

Introduction
Our client is a veterinary practice proudly serving their community for over 30 years, currently hiring for an Associate Veterinarian. This role is open to both full-time and part-time applicants and involves working with cats and dogs.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for a full scope of general practice duties, including wellness care, diagnostics, treatment, and in-hour urgent care cases. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, although candidates with strong surgical skills are preferred. Doctor hours are open to discussion, allowing for flexibility based on individual needs and preferences.

Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with Saturday hours from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, typically limited to the first two Saturdays of each month. The practice is well-equipped with a range of diagnostic and treatment technologies, including digital radiography, a cold therapy laser, surgical cutting laser, ultrasound, dental equipment, lift tables, in-house Idexx lab equipment, and a full pharmacy area. The facility includes three exam rooms and two separate entrances-one dedicated to feline patients and one for dogs-designed to create a calm and stress-free environment for both pets and their owners. The clinic offers a full scope of general practice services along with urgent care.

Team
The team consists of two DVMs supported by a group of tenured support staff, fostering a stable and experienced working environment.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
