Job Description As a Security Officer Access Point Driver in Cross Junction, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Security Officer at a residential community, you will help manage entry points, verify authorized access, monitor activity, and provide outstanding customer service to residents and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. You will maintain a visible presence, communicate clearly, and support a welcoming environment while helping to deter security-related incidents. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.72 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and maintain visitor and vehicle records in accordance with residential community procedures. Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, entry points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Communicate professionally with residents, guests, vendors, and Allied Universal leadership while documenting observations and incidents accurately. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
