Step into an impactful contract role supporting students across a large network of schools in the Houston area, offering dedicated physical therapy services to children from kindergarten through 12th grade. This full-time, on-site opportunity is ideal for an experienced Physical Therapist—or, as a second choice, a highly skilled PTA—seeking a dynamic caseload and collaboration with a second PT colleague. The assignment runs ASAP through late May 2027, offering stable, meaningful work across multiple campuses.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in Texas (active status required)
• Open to experienced PTAs with significant school or pediatric background
• Full availability for a 37.5-hour workweek
• Experience with K–12 students, providing both direct and consultative services
• Familiarity with school-based therapy documentation platforms, especially Frontline and SuccessEd
• Must pass state fingerprinting and school district background check
• Candidates must not be former employees of the district or have prior terminations from any school district (affidavit required)

Responsibilities:

• Manage a diverse caseload of 160 students (50 direct services), shared between two PTs
• Deliver physical therapy services at multiple sites; use district office as a home base and travel to assigned schools
• Complete required documentation on provided platforms
• Collaborate closely with educators and families to maximize student outcomes
• Support students across a broad K–12 age range
• Adhere to district policies, including all time-sensitive credentialing requirements
