Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility and accountability for a group of patients during the designated night shift; deliver nursing care based on the nursing process aligned with the medical plan of care and input from the patient and significant others.
• Collaborate with physicians and other members of the health care team to coordinate delivery of patient care; participate in teaching and discharge planning as part of the overall plan of care.
• Provide care to patients of any age assigned to the unit, within scope of practice and unit capabilities; incorporate patient and family education into care plans.
• Delegate appropriate aspects of patient care to other nursing staff based on current clinical competence and legal scope of practice.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation; ensure care delivery complies with unit standards and CNA representation.

Requirements

• Active registered nurse (RN) license.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (3x12 schedule) and participate in a travel assignment.
• Capacity to care for patients across age groups as determined by the assigned unit.
• Willingness to relocate or travel to Marysville, CA for the assignment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
