Responsibilities Leading and managing financial audits and ensuring compliance with GAAP. Performing bank reconciliations and resolving any discrepancies swiftly and accurately. Reviewing and verifying the accuracy of financial statements and records. Collaborating with external auditors and providing necessary documentation. Identifying potential areas of financial risk and proposing effective mitigating strategies. Providing insightful recommendations for improving financial performance and operational efficiency. Keeping abreast of the latest industry trends, regulations, and best practices in financial auditing. Training and mentoring junior auditors, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Qualifications A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certifications such as CPA will be an added advantage. A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial auditing, with a strong focus on GAAP and bank reconciliation. Proficiency in using accounting software and advanced knowledge of MS Excel. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights. Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing audit teams. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information in a clear and concise manner. High levels of integrity and professional ethics. Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
