Director of Business Development

Salary: Up to $200,000 + Bonus + Comprehensive Benefits The Opportunity Entrust Resource Solutions are supporting a rapidly growing global Contract Development & Manufacturing Organisation (CDMO) in the appointment of a Business Development Director to drive commercial growth across the Midwest region. This is an outstanding opportunity to join an organisation investing significantly in its manufacturing capabilities, technical expertise and commercial expansion across North America. You'll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships and driving long-term revenue growth by delivering outsourced development and manufacturing solutions to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. This role is ideally suited to an experienced commercial professional who thrives on developing new business, managing complex sales cycles and building executive-level customer relationships. The Role As Business Development Director, you'll be responsible for growing an established territory whilst identifying new strategic opportunities across pharmaceutical and biotechnology customers. Key responsibilities include: Developing and executing a strategic territory growth plan Identifying, qualifying and securing new CDMO opportunities Managing the full sales lifecycle from prospecting through to contract award Building relationships with senior decision makers across technical, procurement, manufacturing and executive functions Working collaboratively with technical and operational teams to develop customer-focused solutions Delivering accurate forecasting and pipeline management Representing the business at industry conferences and customer meetings across North America About You We're looking to speak with commercially driven Business Development professionals who have a proven track record selling outsourced pharmaceutical services or complex technical solutions.
