Medical Waste/Needle Container Operator - 2nd Shift 3PM to 11:30PM

Loader/Unloader Job Posting

We are looking to hire a Loader/Unloader for our medical waste treatment facility in Baltimore, MD.

Job responsibilities include:

• Lifting 55lbs bins and pushing a four-wheeled cart that weighs as much as 200lbs
• Weighing incoming sharps and medical waste containers
• Loading/operating our autoclave machine (a pressure chamber to melt materials)
• Loading the Washsmart system (container washing + sanitization system)
• Providing attention to detail with the paperwork required to process containers
• Standing for extended periods of time happily and comfortably
• Working well with a team!

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid driver's license
• Previous experience in a warehouse labor-intensive job (repetitive lifting of 50lbs to 75lb containers)
• Willingness to take a 5 panel urine drug screening
• Willingness to take a 7 year background check
• Basic math and ability to read/record weights accurately
• Familiarity with weighbridge/scale systems
• Comfort with repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and working in PPE
• Proven longevity with employers
• Can-do attitude
