The Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) is seeking a highly motivated Supply Management Officer to serve as our senior Subject Matter Expert and principal architect for government property management. In this critical role, you will be responsible for independently establishing, implementing, and managing DIU’s first-ever organic property accountability program from the ground up. If you excel at building programs from scratch and ensuring seamless lifecycle accountability, we want you on our team. Geographic Salary Breakdowns Mountain View, CA Office: $111,896 – $172,980 (NH-03 base + San Jose-San Francisco-Oakland Locality Pay) National Capital Region (NCR) Office: $102,415 – $158,322 (NH-03 base + Washington-Baltimore-Arlington Locality Pay) Responsibilities Program Development: Design, establish, and manage DIU’s comprehensive property accountability program. Lifecycle Management: Oversee the full lifecycle of accountable government assets, from acquisition to disposition. Audit & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to government property regulations, leading audit readiness and compliance initiatives. Policy Creation: Develop and implement robust policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Strategic Advisory: Provide expert technical and financial advice to DIU leadership regarding asset management. System Management: Implement and oversee a centralized property management system.
