General Shop Helper

Keep the shop moving. As a General Shop Helper, you'll support production teams by handling materials, prepping parts, and keeping the manufacturing floor organized and efficient. This role is active, fast-paced, and essential to daily operations.

What You'll Do
• Assist machine operators, assemblers, and technicians with daily production tasks
• Load, unload, and stage materials for manufacturing processes
• Operate basic shop tools such as grinders, saws, drills, and impact tools
• Perform simple measurements, part prep, and basic quality checks
• Move materials using pallet jacks, carts, or forklifts (if certified)
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and remove scrap or debris
• Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and shop guidelines
• Support general labor tasks to keep production flowing smoothly

What You Bring
• Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or shop environment (preferred)
• Ability to read a tape measure and follow written or verbal instructions
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn
• Comfort working around machinery, noise, and fast-moving operations
• Physical ability to lift, bend, stand, and move throughout the shift
• Safety-first mindset and consistent attendance
