Business Analysis Senior Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst (Technical BA) with strong expertise in .NET applications, database analysis, and business analysis practices . The ideal candidate should be capable of understanding existing applications by analyzing source code, database structures, integrations, and business processes. The individual will work closely with business stakeholders, developers, QA teams, and project managers to translate business requirements into detailed technical user stories, functional specifications, and solution documents.

This role requires a unique combination of technical depth and business analysis skills to support application enhancements, modernization initiatives, and ongoing support activities.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Analysis

• Analyze and understand existing .NET applications, APIs, services, and system integrations.
• Reverse engineer application functionality by reviewing source code and database structures.
• Perform impact analysis for change requests, defect fixes, and enhancement requirements.
• Understand data flows, business rules, stored procedures, SQL jobs, views, and database dependencies.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify technical constraints and solution approaches.
• Support system integration analysis across multiple applications and platforms.

Business Analysis

• Conduct requirement gathering sessions with business stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into detailed functional and technical user stories.
• Create and maintain:
• Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
• Functional Requirement Documents (FRD)
• User Stories with Acceptance Criteria
• Process Flows
• Technical Design Documents
• Data Mapping Documents
• As-Is and To-Be Process Documentation
• Facilitate discussions between business users and technical teams.
• Ensure requirements are clearly understood and traceable through delivery.

Documentation & Delivery Support

• Develop detailed technical specifications for development teams.
• Create process diagrams, workflows, and data flow diagrams.
• Support backlog grooming, sprint planning, and requirement prioritization.
• Assist QA teams with requirement clarification and test scenario preparation.
• Participate in UAT support and defect triage.

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of Microsoft .NET Framework / .NET Core applications .
• Ability to read and understand:
