Senior Clinical Research Associate - CNS/Rare Disease - Midwest (Remote)

Senior Clinical Research Associate position supporting neuroscience and rare disease studies in a remote Midwest-based role. Manages site activities across all clinical trial phases, from initiation through closeout, with occasional regional travel required.

Responsibilities

• Manage research activities at clinical trial sites, including site selection and contracting
• Conduct study initiation visits and site training on data collection and safety reporting
• Support regulatory document collection and contract/budget negotiations with study sites
• Oversee site compliance with informed consent procedures and regulatory requirements
• Monitor ongoing site activities remotely and manage study closeout procedures

Requirements

• 5+ years experience as a Clinical Research Associate
• Bachelor's degree or nursing degree
• Demonstrated experience in rare disease and CNS therapeutic areas
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CTMS, and EDC systems
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
• Midwest residency required; willingness to travel regionally

Compensation: $97,000-$193,000 annually
