The ideal team member will have a passion for food and at least a year of cooking experience. We are an open kitchen deli concept using great ingredients and making just about everything from scratch. If you're excited about learning, honing classic and contemporary techniques, making great sandwiches, and engaging with excited guests, this is the role for you.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and execute menu items according to recipes and instruction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage of food items and station cleaning.
- Uphold food safety regulations according to state/federal regs and our own kitchen standards.
- Work in tandem with the rest of the team to ensure our food is prepared properly and in a timely manner. This is a team oriented job and we all want to work well together.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience cooking on a line is ideal, but not required. Some interest or experience in a kitchen is a must.
- Knowledge of culinary techniques, basic knife skills, and willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with dietary restrictions and common allergens.
Compensation: Hourly ($17.00 - $20.00) plus tips
Estimated Weekly Tips: $240.00
