Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and dependable Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-driven kitchen environment. As a Line Cook at Motto, you will prepare high-quality dishes in accordance with our recipes and standards while upholding cleanliness and food safety protocols. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and guidelines Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies Ensure food comes out to spec in a timely fashion Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations Follow proper food handling and sanitation standards Assist with receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring proper stock rotationCommunicate effectively with front-of-house staff and kitchen team Assist in maintaining inventory and minimizing food waste Contribute to a positive and professional kitchen culture Qualifications 1+ year of experience in a professional kitchen (hotel or high-volume restaurant preferred) Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays Team player with a strong work ethic and a passion for hospitality Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Manual dexterity to carry trays and serve food and beverages. Capacity to work in a noisy and busy environment.
