WCC5 - Surgical Oncology/ Progressive Care Unit - Registered Nurse 1 or 2, Inpt

Location 90 Crittenden Blvd, Rochester, NY 14642, United States. Shift UR – Rotating (United States of America). Compensation $37.12 - $50.11 per hour. Responsibilities Functions as a new graduate nurse with less than one year of experience under the direction of the Nurse Manager. Build competency in the provision of direct patient care. Contribute to unit activities and support enhancement of the care delivery system at the unit level. Support peers in the delivery of patient care services. Manage post‑operative care of surgical oncology, ENT, urology, and colon and rectal patients as part of the Wilmot Cancer Center interdisciplinary team. Serve as an integral member of a large interdisciplinary team delivering compassionate and evidence‑based care to a diverse population. Collaborate with team members, communicate effectively, and demonstrate critical thinking. Shift Details Full-Time/Part-Time positions available. 8‑hour and 12‑hour shifts, holidays and weekends per unit policy. Eligibility Both new graduate and experienced nurses are eligible for residency programs.
