Seeking a V&V Tools Technician for Ford's Electric Vehicle & Digital Design (EVDD) organization, supporting the Hardware and Operational Support team. The selected candidate will build, configure, troubleshoot, and globally distribute specialized test tools for next-generation automotive electronics. This role solves key operational bottlenecks by ensuring verification teams worldwide receive fully functional, accurately validated test environments.ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Assemble, wire, and configure physical test environments, including aluminum frames, harnesses, modules, and software installations. Support global distribution logistics by packaging, shipping, tracking, and managing component inventories for test tool systems. Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair deployed test tool systems via the virtual service desk and physical lab facilities. Perform initial testing and validation on configured systems before dispatch to internal engineering teams and external partners. Collaborate cross-functionally across engineering and development teams to resolve technical issues and manage component supply pipelines.BENEFITS
