Work Environment

This role is primarily onsite, focusing on home care settings where therapy sessions take place in the comfort of patients' homes. Our flexible workweek runs from Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic. As part of our growth, you will manage a reasonable caseload, ensuring quality interactions and positive outcomes for each individual.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement personalized rehabilitation plans that utilize evidence-based treatment methods, ensuring relevance to each patient's recovery journey.
• Manage a manageable caseload of 1–2 patients per hour, allowing you to devote ample time to understanding their needs and adjusting treatment as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records and progress notes using WebPT, ensuring seamless communication and coordination with other healthcare professionals.
• Guide patients through their recovery process, providing support and motivation from their initial assessment to the final therapy session.
• Engage in continuous education on new techniques and advancements in physical therapy to refine your practice and enhance patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, and age-related conditions. Your expertise will help patients regain mobility, strength, and overall functionality. Understanding the specific needs and challenges faced by patients in their homes is key to facilitating meaningful recovery.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program is required, with a preference for candidates holding a Master's or Doctorate.
• Active license or eligibility for licensure in the state of California, demonstrating your commitment to professional standards.
• Strong analytical skills coupled with an energetic and methodical approach to therapy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedic outpatient care is preferred, providing you with a strong foundation in addressing musculoskeletal issues.
• Experience working in home care settings is a plus, as it enhances your ability to adapt therapy techniques to patients' living environments.

Compensation and Benefits
