About the Role

The Company is in search of a VP of Sales to spearhead the commercial strategy for its rapidly expanding data center business. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the sales team, developing and executing strategic sales initiatives, and fostering executive-level customer relationships within the data center ecosystem. This role demands a seasoned professional with a minimum of 5 years' of heat transfer sales experience in the data center industry, a proven track record in outside sales leadership, and a strong background in mechanical engineering or a related technical field. The VP of Sales will be at the forefront of defining the go-to-market strategy, expanding relationships with various types of data center providers, and positioning innovative cooling technologies that cater to the next generation of AI and high-performance computing environments. Applicants for the VP of Sales position at the company should possess a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or an equivalent technical education, coupled with a minimum of 5 years' of experience in outside sales leadership. The role requires a candidate with a strong mechanical aptitude, a history of success in developing executive customer relationships, and a proven ability to lead high-performing sales teams in complex technical markets. Strategic selling capabilities, excellent communication, and the willingness to travel extensively are essential. While not mandatory, experience with hyperscale cloud providers, colocation companies, semiconductor manufacturers, or AI infrastructure customers is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a background in selling highly engineered mechanical or thermal management solutions into mission-critical facilities and experience with large-scale strategic accounts.
