Performprocedures as permitted by state regulations and APP specialty Collaboratewith physicians and other healthcare providers to ensurecoordinated care Documentpatient care accurately and thoroughly Skills: Strongclinical knowledge and assessment skills Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills to build rapportwith patients Proficiencyin performing physical examinations and proceduresrelevant to their specialty Criticalthinking and problem-solving skills to diagnose andmanage complex medical conditions Timemanagement skills to efficiently manage a patient workload Abilityto work independently while also collaboratingeffectively with a healthcare team Requirements Education: Masterof Science in Nursing (MSN) degree focused on an NP specialty (e.g., family practice, adult-gerontology,pediatrics) Licenses & Certifications: Activeand unencumbered advanced practice registered nurse(APRN) license in Massachusetts Nationalcertification as an NP in a relevant specialty area by arecognized certifying body (e.g., American Academy ofNurse Practitioners [AANP]) Experience: Whilespecific requirements may vary, most locum APP positionsprefer candidates with at least one year of experiencein a clinical setting relevant to their specialty Travel: If you residegreater than 50 miles from the facility you areeligible for travel benefits.
