Job Description
Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical for a permanent full-time position working Variable Shifts | 36 Hours Weekly with mixed day/night scheduling and rotating weekends. The RN will provide comprehensive patient-centered care in a fast-paced acute care environment while assessing patient conditions, administering medications, monitoring responses to treatment, and collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams. Responsibilities include identifying and reporting changes in patient status, performing provider-ordered procedures, documenting care accurately in the EMR, educating patients and families regarding diagnoses and treatment plans, and delivering exceptional bedside care. Candidates must be willing to cross-train across multiple units including Oncology and Ortho Trauma. Acute care experience is preferred but not required.

Requirements:

Active RN License required

BLS Certification required (must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date)

Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required

Acute care experience preferred but not required

Must be willing to cross-train to multiple units including Oncology and Ortho Trauma

Strong patient assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills required

Ability to work rotating weekends and variable shifts required
