Graphic & UI Designer

Location: Telecommute Job Type: Contract Compensation Range: $50 - 60 per hour Are you a versatile designer ready to bring iconic brand experiences to life across both print and digital platforms? Join a leading global organization as a Graphic & UI Designer, where you will craft everything from packaging design and brand collateral to clickable prototypes and design systems! Responsibilities: Graphic & Brand Design Create visual layouts, illustrations, and designs for packaging, advertising, marketing collateral, logos, and published print/online materials. Select and arrange artwork, curate color palettes, influence overarching design concepts, and conduct press checks for print production. Interpret and translate brand guidelines seamlessly into digital assets and product interfaces. UI & Digital Product Design Produce high-quality, consistent UI deliverables, including mockups, clickable prototypes, micro-animations, and design systems. Prepare and hand off visual assets to software engineers and conduct UI reviews of live code to ensure visual fidelity. Partner closely with Product Designers (UX) to translate wireframes into intuitive visual interfaces. Research & Strategy Apply mid-level UI research principles, including competitive analysis, accessibility standards, and A/B testing, to inform design decisions. Participate in process improvement initiatives, stakeholder communications, and the establishment of best-in-class UI design practices. Qualifications: Experience: 5+ years of full-time professional design work experience. Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Graphic Design or a related field. Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional aesthetics, packaging design, visual layout, brand identity, and interactive prototyping. Technical Proficiency: Expert knowledge of the latest graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma/Sketch). UI Design: Intermediate UI design skills, familiarity with UI design principles, clickable prototyping, and asset handoff workflows. Core Design Fundamentals: Exceptional grasp of composition, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy across both print and digital media.
