With the power of many curious minds, together we can solve the world’s most complex challenges and deliver more impact together.**Role description:**Arcadis is seeking a **Structural Engineer** to join our Climate Adaptation and Water Management Team in either Baton Rouge, or Metairie, Louisiana! As a Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering engineering and consulting services for a variety of projects, including those focused on shoreline stability, flood risk reduction, and waterfront infrastructure resilience. **Role accountabilities:**As a Structural Engineer, you will conduct structural analysis, design, and construction efforts for climate adaptation projects, including seismic risk reduction, flood mitigation, and infrastructure resilience initiatives. Other responsibilities include: * Contribute to a diverse range of projects, contributing to design development, evaluation of solutions, and construction implementation.* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and sustainable structural solutions aligned with industry codes and standards.* Support project budgets, schedules, and deliverables to ensure successful project completion within established timelines.* Support business development, mentorship, and thought leadership as interested.* Some travel may be required for project site visits, client meetings, safety audits, or general planning purposes depending on project staffing needs.**Qualifications & Experience:****Required Qualifications:** * 5 years of progressive related experience.* Bachelor's degree in related discipline.* PE License.**Preferred Qualifications:** * Master's degree in Structural Engineering from a reputable institution.* Progressive experience in structural engineering, with a focus on infrastructure projects related to water management, flood control, and seismic resilience.* Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as STAAD, MathCAD, AutoCAD, and Revit.Why Arcadis?We can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best.
