Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct diverse ultrasound examinations such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging with confidence

• Collaborate efficiently with radiologists and medical teams to secure high-quality diagnostic imaging
• Operate and care for imaging equipment, promptly addressing any malfunctions
• Accurately document procedures and manage patient records through electronic medical systems
• Stay informed on advancements in ultrasound techniques and practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or similar
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
