We’re bringing two concepts together under one roof in West Ashley—Angel Biscuit Co. by day and Emily Pizza by night.

Mornings are all about scratch-made biscuits, seriously good bagels, and breakfast worth getting out of bed for. By night, we switch gears to handcrafted pizza, cocktails, beer, wine, and a laid-back neighborhood atmosphere built around great food and hospitality. We’re looking for Bartenders who know how to make a great drink, genuinely enjoy taking care of people, and can keep things moving when the restaurant gets busy. You’ll be one of the faces of the restaurant—welcoming guests, mixing drinks, taking orders, and helping create an experience that feels easy, fun, and worth coming back for.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Bartender, you’ll help deliver great hospitality while balancing bar service, counter service, and the needs of the restaurant throughout your shift.

You’ll:

• Greet guests with a warm and welcoming attitude.

• Take food and beverage orders, answer questions, and help guests find something they’ll love.

• Learn our food, beer, wine, cocktail, and non-alcoholic beverage menus and confidently speak to ingredients, modifications, allergens, and menu offerings.

• Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages accurately, consistently, and according to recipe and portion standards.

• Operate the POS system and accurately handle cash and electronic payments.

• Follow all responsible alcohol-service and age-verification procedures.

• Set up, stock, maintain, and break down the bar while keeping glassware, garnishes, mixers, ice, and other supplies ready for service.

• Check in with guests, anticipate what they may need, keep beverages refreshed, and take care of the little things before they have to ask.

• Run food, clear and reset tables, and help keep the bar, counter, dining room, beverage stations, and guest areas clean and organized.

• Stay connected with the kitchen and the rest of the team so food and drinks arrive accurately and service keeps moving.

• Provide takeout and pickup guests with the same level of hospitality as our dine-in guests.

• Follow food safety, sanitation, responsible alcohol-service, cash-handling, workplace safety, and restaurant procedures.

• Jump in to support other front-of-house responsibilities whenever needed.

• Can move quickly and efficiently when things get busy without sacrificing accuracy or hospitality.

• Notice the details and care about getting things right.

• Are comfortable talking about food and drinks, making recommendations, and helping guests navigate the menu.

• Have bartending or restaurant experience and are comfortable working in a fast-paced bar environment.

• Understand that strong hospitality matters just as much as knowing how to make a great drink.

• Are a team player who is willing to jump in wherever help is needed.

• Communicate well and treat teammates and guests with respect.

• Show up on time, ready to work and contribute.

• Can learn our POS system, cocktail specifications, beer and wine offerings, and comfortably move between bar and other front-of-house responsibilities.

• Are available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.

• Can perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation, including standing and walking for extended periods, lifting and carrying restaurant and bar supplies, and safely performing the physical tasks associated with restaurant service.
