Civil Engineer Project ManagerFarnsworth Group is seeking a Civil Engineer Project Manager in one of the posting locations below. Qualified candidates will work with our Energy & Utility Group as a part of the Telecommunications Team in the planning, drafting, design, permitting and construction administration of telecommunications and utility projects. Posting Locations for this role: Lisle, IL; Frisco, TX; Charlotte, NC; or St. Louis, MOWhat You'll Do:Review roadway plans to identify conflicts with existing utilitiesDesign civil relocation plans for telecommunications and other utility projects using MicroStation, AutoCAD, or other design softwarePlan and oversee work production to meet project deadlines and budgetsTechnical oversight, training and mentoring of less experienced staffAbility to lead multiple projects simultaneously and coordinate efforts with support groups ensuring a quality, on-time product for our clients, and financially successful projectsReview projects for accuracy, quality, and adherence to client specificationsProvide direction and support for permit plans and work prints drafted in AutoCAD, MicroStation, Bluebeam, etc.Provide office support for site visits and participate in site visits which may include overnight travelWhat You'll Need:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field4+ years of engineering experienceExperience with AutoCAD or MicroStationExperience in utility relocation design, utility coordination, or roadway designPositive work ethic and excellent communication skillsAbility to effectively manage time while working on several projects concurrentlyNice To Haves:Professional Engineering (PE) licenseProject Management Professional (PMP) Certification or 2+years of project management experienceExperience on telecommunications relocation projectsExperience submitting and tracking permits (DOT, municipal, USACE, etc.) for utility projectsWho We Are:Join Farnsworth Group, a nationally recognized architectural, engineering, and surveying firm, where your career can thrive!
