St. Mary's Healthcare has also been named a 2026 Times Union Top Workplace—the first acute care hospital in the Capital Region to earn the distinction since the Times Union launched the recognition program 14 years ago.Job Requisition: LPNCL 001091Employment Type: Full-timeShift: DaysHours Per Week: 40 hours/weekLocation Amsterdam Family Practice: Holland Circle DriveHiring Range: Starting at $25.50 hourly.Below are the shift differentials based on eligible shifts worked:Weekday evening shift - additional 10%Weekday night shift - additional 15%Weekend day shift - additional 10%Weekend evening & night shifts - additional 21%The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.Responsibilities:• Contributes to the assessment of patients and assures the well-being of patients. • Administers medications and observes patients for adverse reactions to medications or treatments. • Performs laboratory tests and therapeutic services. • Educates patients/families about disease treatment plan including self care post discharge, holistic health needs, available resources and follow up care.Complexity of Work: • Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment.Personal Protective Equipment: • Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.Licensure / Certification / Registration:• Required Credential(s): • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. • Practical/Vocational Nurse credentialed from the New York Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
