Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Med Surg/Tele Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have recent experience in Med Surg/Tele and be proficient in the management of dysrhythmias and rapid response situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care as part of a team nursing model alongside LPNs and PCAs.
• Monitor and interpret vital signs and dysrhythmias, implementing appropriate interventions.
• Administer medications, including oxygen therapy, and manage peripheral lines.
• Lead or assist in rapid response scenarios and code situations.
• Ensure compliance with isolation precautions and safety protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in Med Surg/Tele nursing.
• Current New York State RN License.
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
• Previous charge experience preferred.
