What You'll Actually Be Doing

As our Account Manager , you’ll help drive the growth of the agency.

That means you’ll:

• Call and follow up with prospective customers.
• Respond quickly when new leads come in.
• Start conversations and turn them into opportunities.
• Ask great questions to understand what customers actually need.
• Explain insurance options without sounding like an insurance textbook.
• Confidently ask for the business when the solution makes sense.
• Stay persistent with follow-up instead of letting good opportunities disappear.
• Ask happy customers for referrals.
• Build relationships throughout the Weddington and surrounding community.
• Participate in local events and creative marketing efforts.
• Track your activity, goals, and results.
• Work with the rest of the team to keep raising the bar.

Insurance Licensing

A current Property & Casualty insurance license is preferred .
A current Life & Health insurance license is also preferred .
Candidates who already hold both licenses may be especially well positioned to hit the ground running.
Previous experience in insurance sales, sales, recruiting, hospitality, restaurants, retail, fitness, customer service, fundraising, business development, or other goal-driven environments can be a huge advantage.
But if you don't have traditional sales experience and you're thinking, “Give me a shot. I could crush this,” we still want to hear from you.
